Visit DameDelilah.com & a message from me…

DameDelilah.com is a new website featuring videos of Kerri Kenney and some other State members and friends. It’s really funny! So funny that I couldn’t help but post it!

Wow, I have been gone for a REALLY long time. There is so much I have missed and haven’t posted that I have really wanted to. I’ve still been supporting all of the projects that The State are involved in. I apologize for not keeping up with and updating the website. I’ve been going through a lot of things in my personal life. Working on figuring out college, moving to a new apartment, trying to make money, and then numberous other responsibilities and such that have stressed me out. A lot of that had effected me and the way I have been feeling emotionally. I just haven’t had much motivation lately but I am working on regaining that motivation because running this fan site means a lot to me and I enjoy working on it. I can’t make any promises of how soon I will be back here posting and of how often because I have a lot of stuff to deal with still. However, I came here just to let you guys know that I haven’t given up on this site and that one day I’ll be back!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! Let’s celebrate with a wonderful Easter blog. I hope you guys had an awesome day.

A lot of you have heard that The State had their reunion show last Saturday and I’ve heard some feedback from a few myspacers. So I thought I’d share the feedback.

Here’s what Liezl had to say:

I was fortunate enough to attend both shows this weekend and it was absolutely amazing to see them all together on one stage (sans Black and Showalter who are still on tour).

According to Kerri, the show was basically a way for them to work on material for their Comedy Central History of the United States feature/movie/special.

The running theme of the night was the progression of American History, with the absent Michael’s providing a short video titled, “History of Fucking”.

here’s my vague photo recap here:

Here is the whole photo set..

Also, I’m not sure if this is going to work but I asked permission from Rick if I could link to his blogs for you guys to see his pictures and recap of the show. I think he set them to public so the links should work. Check it out:

Coming out in theatres soon is RUN, FAT BOY, RUN… written by Michael Ian Black and Simon Pegg! You all should see it. It’s SUPER funny. The website looked kinda fun too with games and stuff.

Alright, I’m off to a trip to NYC for spring break. Should be tons of fun! I hope everyone enjoys there week. I’ll miss you all.

A Message From Liezl: Possible State Reunion at UCB-LA?

Hey. Just got a message from Liezl with some interesting news! Here’s what it says:

So for those who are in the Los Angeles area, there *might* be a special event on the table for a State cast reunion at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in LA.

At Seth & Ed’s Puppet show last night at UCB-LA, Tom Lennon was a surprise guest who stopped by when Patton Oswalt called out sick with the flu. During the interview portion of the show, Lennon mentioned the reunion would take place March 15. Although he didn’t sound too sure of the date, so I suggest keeping an eye out on the UCB calendar in March.

Monthly events are not put up in the most timely manner.. so I wouldnt expect the March calendar to go up until the end of February.

Here’s the UCB calendar link that you should quietly stalk until it’s March:
http://ucbtheatre.com/schedule/laschedule.php

I wouldnt normally suggest stalking, but reservations for bigger events go fast (as in a couple minutes).

Here’s my recap of last night’s show on aspecialthing.com with pictures:
